On-site PC-service (On-site service for PCs and their peripherals)
ZIH offers an on-site service for TU Dresden employees who do not have local IT support. This includes the following services with regard to PCs and their peripherals as well as networking, for example:
- Analysis and elimination of malfunctions (hardware/software),
- Upgrades and conversions,
- Installation of new system software (to a limited extent also application software), software enhancements,
- commissioning of new systems,
- LAN networking: consulting (also on site), setup of networked PCs/notebooks,
- Help with Windows operating system administration,
- Procurement of PC, peripheral and data network components,
- Anti-virus
Please note: Employees whose workstations are managed by local IT support (IT administrators) should contact their local IT support.
A repair service is only provided in exceptional cases, for employees, if there is no local administrator. Students have no claim.
